I am trying to Download a Corel Video Program on a disk I used on my old Windows, and I know that with macs you can split the drive into windows/mac os.

1.) How do you split the memory on drive
2.) How to download once #1 is done.

New to Macs, so yes I’m a newb.

okay so, ive just bought crysis 2 on pc. its a very memory hungry game, i need a 512 mb graphics card to play it without any lagging, everything else, i have. i want to know, what software that i can download to help my graphics card function so that when i play the game, it is at least a lot smoother. just for the short term until i buy a new graphics card

I have an SPV M700 which isn’t recognised by the mac, i found some software called syncmate which my phone seems to recognise when connected but i cant do anything, i dont particually want to sync n e fing but really want for my mac to be able to recognise the memory card in my phone so i can transfer files to it….

I know of software such as PocketMac & Missing Sync but ideally i would prefer not to pay as im very cheap

Hi. I accidentally formatted my Toshiba 4 GB Flash Memory and erased the U 3 Launchpad software. How/from where can I download and re-install the software? And how?

I can’t download anything onto my work computer but could I upload off of a memory stick?

Generally if you are barred from downloading software etc on a work computer are you barred from uploading too? I can upload pictures but I need to upload software (adobe acrobat)

I am using windows 7 ultimate, and thinking of uninstalling some software to make my CPU LIGHTER and FASTER, but i don’t want to lose important software that help my daily works (browsing, downloading, office tasks, few games or maybe no game at all).I got this CPU from my brother.
1.adobe flash player 10.
some said it takes a lot of CPU and Memory, but i need to know more about this product, so than i can be sure to uninstall it, I’ve done Google but not satisfied, I need to know from people who are using are ever used it. I don’t play games a lot.

2.yahoo! messenger
this one keeps showing up every time i start my computer, i don’t know what it is and how to use it. i don’t really like messaging, facebook is enough. but i want to know how important it is for you dealing with your daily computer job. also about its friends “yahoo!toolbar, yahoo!software update, yahoo!search protection” i want to uninstall them also.

3. what is k-lite mega codec pack 5.0.5 and daemon tools toolbar? how important?

4. i want to keep adobe reader, but what is adobe air and acrobat.com? if i uninstall adobe flash player 10, will adobe reader 930 work fine without it? if I keep adobe reader, should I also keep adobe air and acrobat.com?

My computer was working fine, had blue screened me 2 times and then it happened I took it home to use while on emergency leave and the Operating system crashed. Lucky for me my sister happened to have her DELL Vista reboot disc and i was able to try to reboot the OS. After losing all my Documents/pictures/music/videos and all items i downloaded while deployed I also lost my wireless card and sd/memory stick drive. I haven’t attempted to see if i lost anything else yet. I have a Sony Vaio VGN-AR550U anyone have any suggestions or places i could get some freeware to help get my computer back online? its a necessity while im deployed to talk to my family

Need help with viruses… Too much software available, which is right for me?

Hello, I’ve had trouble with viruses lately… It started with a fake Windows Security virus, and I downloaded Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware and deleted it. The problem is trojan files are always leaking in. If I don’t scan with Malwarebytes every couple hours, a full virus eventually comes back… usually in the form of a System Security virus. Other symptoms include Google searches getting redirected and Blue Screen Memory Dumps.

I’ve downloaded Spyware Blaster, Registry Mechanic, and Spyware Doctor…but there are SO many programs out there…freeware, free trials, and actual professional software. If there are so many, how do I know which one to choose? What will get rid of this virus problem for me and KEEP it away the best? I appreciate any help and advice
