You’re talking about Bootcamp.

1) You’re actually splitting the hard disk, not the memory. If you’re mac supports this, go to utilities and start up boot camp. Then follow the directions on installing windows (you’ll need your windows discs).

2) If you’re trying to download it, perhaps google search it and download it from their website if they support it.

If boot camp doesn’t work for you, you can use a virtual machine (such as Virtual Box) to start up windows. This is an alternative to step 1.

1) Run the Boot Camp Assistant (it’s in Utilities). Follow the instructions, then install Windows (you need a valid Windows disk for this)

2) You are actually running Windows at this point, not Mac OS X, so you download it the same way you usually do in Windows.

no you dont need a 512mb card. you need an ati 3850 equivalent or better.

Video memory has little to do with performance. like you could get a 5450 that has 1gb. But the 5450 is a VERY low end card. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Radeon+HD+5450
its FAR under the requirements but has 1gb.

Anyway, to you question, no. There is no such software that can magically make you run games lol. Its all based on your hardware.

You could most probably ‘upload’ (if by that you mean transfer files from a memory sick on to the computer) files on to the computer but if you can’t download anything then it’s unlikely that you will be able to install any applications, like Adobe Reader.

You must have administrator rights to do this (and many other tasks). I would contact your service desk if you have one and ask for them to install what you need. If there is a genuine business need for you to have it they should be able to give it to you unless your company IT policy does not allow it
